Today I got quite some work done (imo). Many details that I am very happy with. It just has to work now :XD:

I'm actually using 123D Design. (Yeah I know, its old :P) The second test-print turned out very nice. Still many more things to do, but everything fits in place atm. (the ABXY buttons are not in this picture because I didn't want to glue them in place :D)

Another small update: I designed some Gamecube-like buttons. They are 40% smaller than the orginals though. But still manageable :D. The size is similar to the DS-buttons. I printed them with a .25mm nozzle and they turned out great :) Still way to go . Edit: Interesting, how the nozzle...

I actually thought about that, but I am not familiar with designing them myself. So I scraped the idea, because it would consume too much time.

Sadly this device will not have included batteries. I plan on doing this in the future again, but for now it will be powered from an external battery. If I'd be able to use the PowerMii I could built a portable 3mm thicker with an integrated battery. The challenge for me although is to build...

Small update: I got some work done with the frame. Still not finished ;) I had to pull the mainboard up a bit (1.5mm). The support for the mainboard looks so strange because of the SMD parts on it :eyeroll:. The height of the air duct is 4.6mm. I am happy with it so far :)

I'm happy I got to work on this project this weekend, although it wasn't so much... So I got the display working :D I soldered two connectors together. Sadly I can not shorten the ribbon cable from the screen. My 3d-printer broke ._.' ... Hopefully the parts I ordered will arrive soon...
