Agreed, possible but you'd have to have an oscilloscope and a VERY good knowledge of electronics to reverse engineer it from what I've seen. Besides, the time would take to do all that you could probably have ordered a really nice screen from China, have received it and built an entire portable. :)

True, finding the right antenna is key, got to look and see what I can find out there. All the equipment I have here have Internal antennas so can't steal one from something somewhere, (I'm all about parting stuff out & recycling). Might start looking on Amazon or eBay and see what's out there. :)
