    Question Help with my ps2

Using an untrimmed ps2 board is fine. It will just bring the battery life down. But the main thing than concerns me is that is an scph 9000x board. I am not sure all the homebrew works on that model. Have you tested all the loading methods for games?

That board does not look like it balances the voltages of the batteries. You need one that balances the battery voltages

BOM stands for bill of materials. Gman and some of the guys put a list together of stuff they use all the time. It is guaranteed good quality. Here is a link. https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/portablizing-bom.367/

Uh no. That is for 14.8v which is 4 batteries in series. 2 batteries in series would only be 7.4v. You need a different protection circuit board for that. There is a link in the BOM.

Just as a general rule, try to stay away from anything wrapped in blue tape. That is what the chinese battery companies use to wrap their stuff, and chinese companies like to lie about the specs of their battery packs.

    Question Help with my ps2

If you are not in a hurry to get this done, just wait awhile. A couple people here are doing ps2 documentation. Maybe they will come out with a guide to trim it. Patience is key.

    Question oMdding help (gameboy pocket)

That is the downside to this hobby. It is always more expensive than we think it is going to be. But the return is great. And the feeling you get when you finally finish something is the best reward. The benefits far outweigh the bit of money you put into your projects.

Question Calling all noobs (noob question thread)

The wii does a check for bluetooth when it loads into a wii game, so you wont be able to play wii games at all. It is possible to code out that bluetooth check, but I dont know anything about that. And it depends what you mean by stuffing up.

Another thing i feel like i should mention. You said you want to 3d print a case. Thats great. But you create your case around your parts. You have to get everything planned out first. Then you need to get all the parts. You then have to measure everything. Then after that, you can start 3d...

Worklog SiiMii - SquarePear's first portable

PortabalizeMii needs a usb to run. That is just how the software is configured. Also the usb is MUCH easier to wire up than sd. You can still use a micro sd card, you just need to put it in a microsd to usb converter.

Worklog SiiMii - SquarePear's first portable

Is there a reason you are using microsd over usb? For your first portable, you are going to make it hard on yourself. Since this is your first, i would recommend making it a bit simpler. You learn so much while creating your first portable. It will also keep you from getting super discouraged...

Question Snes controller on ds lite

Hey Linx87. I know you didn't do it on purpose, but you double posted a bunch of times. We sort of have a rule against it. Just try to remember to use the edit button when you want to post something extra to what you just posted. It really helps to clear up the threads and make it so people...

Question Snes controller on ds lite

Yes. As long as the SNES controller is not connected. It should work normally.

Question Snes controller on ds lite

Ok. Here is what I would do. I would buy an old cheap gba game that nobody wants. I would then wire to the inside of the gba game so you can remove the snes controller when yoy are not using it. Then you wouldnt have to wire directly to the motherboard.

Question Snes controller on ds lite

I am not entirely sure what you are trying to do. But when you are in a ds game, it doesnt matter if anything is in the gba slot. I wouldnt wire directly to the gba slot. I would wire to a connector. That way, you could disconnect it while you are not using it. But why would you wire a snes...

Worklog PS2 portable (not named yet)

We had a discussion about this the other day on a different thread. Just because the main ic chip supports y, pb,pr that doesnt mean the driver board and driver software are created to support that video input.
