I use a few wire sizes: 22awg for power 28awg for smaller power lines like the controller power (you'll probably be fine without this size to be honest) 34awg for data connections you can use it to solder to the ave chip and even the bluetooth module if desired, but 38awg might be easier to use...

I used the original cables to troubleshoot the motherboard all the way through until I was ready to attach a screen and batteries. If you dont have them you can use alternative cords like ordinary rca cables and any ac adapter that's around 7.4v-12v

You can rewire the av port to the wii, you just have to use 4 wires composite video, ground and l/r audio

I purchased the stores u amp, cooling kit and pms and can say they're worth the money If you dont want a headphone jack the pam8803 works well.

I've mentioned trying out a 6 layer board for a portable and basically got my ass chewed lol I don't know if its documented, but I guess 6 layer boards also create more heat I'd imagine it's like working with a gamecube at this point lol without the mx chip and bluetooth

I have to fix up the wires for the regulators, but I used a new pth regulator to fix the 5v issue that I ran into again So everything works, but I'm gonna be waiting for the uamp that I just ordered, after that I can start installing the boards in and get some better progress in.

How many people have used that layout for the b button? Looks nice Couldn't the original triggers be remade, but smaller? Could see how it looks like a mini envision

So I finally got more parts today, like the screen which runs really well I had trouble installing the vga patches, but I was able to get help for that...so yea once I start gluing things in I'll be making good progress on this.

I redid the wiring for av out, usb, power and my regulators, I had them wired individually to the board, but now their inputs and grounds are connected having less wires so I'm happy with that, I also connected the v/h syncs to the ave chip, they're just the wires I'm currently still using...

Case will be ready for clear coats today, been having trouble getting the best results. I figured I'd do 2 or three coats of clear, give it a light sanding with 1500/2000 grits in between. EDIT: for the next week or two I'll be getting the rest of the parts to start the assembly. Taking this...
