    Worklog MasterNate's First Wii Portable

Oh man - I saw those needle nose pliers and thought you were about to say you just ripped out the screwposts. My heart started beating faster because that's a GREAT way to tear holes in your case. I'm glad your method worked for you!

Instead of a Dremel cutting disk you can use a sanding barrel. Takes a bit longer than a disk, but it still eats through plastic fairly quickly. Plus if you slip you might scuff up the inside of your case rather than slicing a hole in it. Alternatively, if you have some rugged wire snips you...

    Worklog Roberb's first wii portable

Not necessarily. My Hakko hasn't let me down yet and it's single temp. But in this case Roberb, I would buy that kit only for the helping hands and throw the rest away.

Retro duo( not the handheld ) question

I've "internet known" Doom for a few years now and I still don't know what to make of him. If I get to make it to MGC '018 my plan is to approach with caution.

    Worklog Super NOTendo

Maybe not terribly exciting for the rest of you, but I think I finalized my code. It compiled at least. B| If all goes according to plan, the Arduino should read in data from both controllers fast enough that it would seem simultaneous. I couldn't remember exactly which buttons correspond with...

    Worklog The Sega GeneKris

I have one of those AtGames systems as well - I love it. Sega has always been pretty awesome when it comes to handing out licenses and this is one of those cases; it's an "official" Sega product just not made by Sega. I can say from experience that the Genesis Game Genie doesn't work with it...

    What is your desktop?

I can appreciate that this is coming from a Mac owner. Haven't shared my desktop because it's the default Windows 7 wallpaper for both work and home computers. Icon-wise, nothing too exciting. Work: crap-ton of Excel files. Home: folders of movie rips, game roms, and pics of my kids.

After you upload your picture, you need to select whether you want to add the picture full size or just as a thumbnail. If you don't select either, it won't get added to your post. That joycon looks really nice. I like how this project is going!

Discussion PowerMii Lite - Interest Thread

Noah has already asked for payment from those who have committed to purchasing, so I would wager that anyone who hasn't already received a pm has missed the boat. Only chance would be if Noah hasn't yet sent the order to the fab and is willing to accept a couple more orders.

    Worklog Portable Wii WVI (WIP)

Great project! I was actually going to do the exact same thing but dropped the project when I realized how small the BitBuilt guys were able to shrink the Wii board. I started building mine out of a Wii U shell, so yes.

    Discussion FRANKENCASING IS DIFFICULT

Technically you're not even frankencasing yet. You're building your own case out of raw materials, which I certainly applaud!

Worklog NGCP by Nikoil - Finished

Think that Like button got whiplash from how hard I hit it. Dang Nikoil. The finished product is only better by knowing how beautiful it is on the inside.

    Worklog Various Cosmetic Console Mods

Incorporate the chain whip somehow on the controller and make it end in the spike ball thingy (technical term) on the Y button since that's the default attack button (according to my phone's emulator). Other than that, I think it would be neat if the controllers put more emphasis on the hero...
