Very nice. I'm curious though, what will you be lining the inside of the Altoids tin with to prevent shorts?
I love the idea. If it's possible it has to happen :)
I made a custom label. I did not make the labels for those carts. Sun and Moon aren't bad, I think I'm just slowly losing my enthusiasm for the new games as I get older. I'm going to compile the latest git revision of Polished crystal as soon as mine arrive. I can't wait!
So if I am understanding you post correctly the bus on the back that the hdd/network adapter uses is the same as this one? Or does this bus have the same pinout but is faster?
It's a general rule of thumb that applies to everything. Woodworking, metal working, portablizing, memeing, etc.
The point of sanding is to prevent short circuits. You want to make sure it's right and should visually see a difference.

From my understanding the device clones are legal after so many years because the patent expires or it enters public domain. So I believe you are correct in that respect.
The only expansion port I can find on my PS2 is the one my network adapter is plugged into. These official network adapters have a PATA/IDE port for (now old) Hard drives to plug into and there is even a version of FreeMCBoot for it.
Was this the port you were referring to? Are you trying to...
I don't always read like I'm dislexic, but when I do I have trouble reading shockslayer's posts.
Seriously though.... it took me a second.
Also, the air vents on the top of the console look like a mouth... kek
Well Shockslayer was the easiest because of his videos and Doom was another easy one because he had a picture taken holding the "Nintendo Playstation" prototype (So Jealous!). Cheese was guessed based of location given info and the rest were by age. I hope I'm not too off.
Very nice job. I always wanted to get myself a 3d printer and everyday it seems I'm given another reason to have one.
I also wanted to point out that you were featured on hackaday.
My kind of ROM hacks are the one that are based off ROM disassembly and recompiled.
I'm currently playing a Pokemon Crystal one on an emulator but will be trying it and the two mentioned hacks when my flashcart arrives.
