So I ve played the n64 for quite sometime and hope to make a handheld of it in the future, would you recommend keeping the original joystick or getting one of those cheap gamecube replacement ones?

Nes clone portables are cheaper than anything i ve worked with, only spent 83$

Thank you! I hope they re 9 volts because most small LCDs run at 12 but if your lucky they can hold they re ground at 9.

Theres a nes clone called 8 bit entertainment system on amazon but it doesnt show the voltage of the power brick.

Thanks guys i just solved it, it was the TV i was using and i did switch the switch connections to video instead of ground
