This is amazing man. The HDMI card you are referring to is the one that will take the RGB bus and transform it into HDMI, did you test it with that card from Aliexpress?

    PS2 and Raspberry pi 4

yes, the schematic is exactly this, the part of the 75ohm resistors and the 1nf/2000V capacitor is inside the connector.

    PS2 and Raspberry pi 4

In the 70k and 75k versions of the PS2 up to the possible first version of the 79k an ethernet transformer, IC H0037RL, is used, in the other versions from the 79k to the latest version of the 90k an RJ45 Connector with an internal transformer is used, I am not aware of any project with the use...

Bro, amazing project, I want to give you a tip about something that worries me, pay attention to these trails, I believe they can't be straight but in these formats.

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

Although the schematic of the 90k pcb is 97% identical to the 79k pcb, there is a BIOS firmware difference and the mechacon has about 5 different pins, I advise you to get a defective PS2 and transplant the component you need, there will be less risk of making a mistake.

    Worklog The LIGHTNiiNG - BLOCKED

He could make a board to train with BGA soldering before trying with the chip itself, in the worklog I talked about it.

    Worklog The LIGHTNiiNG - BLOCKED

A simple and cheap way is to use an electric grill with two thermocouples to monitor the temperature, one thermocouple you place in the middle between the electric grill and the PCB and the other thermocouple you place next to the chip you are going to solder, with that you can monitor the...

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

I printed the footprints that I created on paper to see if they were correct, and everything is fine, they are perfect. As the print is 1:1 scale, full scale, I was able to get a physical sense of the size of the PCB.

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

It's good to hear that Bro, I'm going to need to acquire tools for this, and take some time to train and feel confident in soldering with Chips, this is new territory, so I'm looking for ways to make it easier and cheaper to perform these solders.

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

It's still too early for me to make a decision, as I said it's an attempt, but I intend to somehow benefit the whole community. So far I have made available the mappings I made of the 90k and 79k, this same mapping a Chinese company asked me for 2,000 dollars per board to do it, so I decided to...

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

I believe this will be the last designer update I will do before sending the pcb to be manufactured. In this last update I put the micro SD card slot to read games from the memory card, I had a spare space on the pcb and I decided to put this option, I thought about putting the data multiplexer...

Worklog An attempt to recreate the PS2 PCB

Glad you liked it. You can find here in bitbuilt in the part of the forum dedicated to Sony the mappings I made of the 79k and 90k with all voltages and components identified, I used a very cheap and reliable component tester found on Chinese sales sites to find out the value of each one of the...

    Question Trimmed to much

Wait a minute, I took a better look at the mapping, the photo you sent me couldn't see the details, it doesn't really connect to this track.

    Question Trimmed to much

To make it easier for you, remove this capacitor from the board that has it, and place it on the board that is not working, as I indicated. This capacitor that is on the working board will not be needed if you remove it and put it on the other one.

    Question Trimmed to much

You will have to solder the capacitor in the place I indicated, and redo the track with a thin toasted wire, as I showed. When you look at the image you can see the trail coming out of the black resistor and going towards the chip, you have to remake it, and the brown capacitor you removed you...
