Question How to keep case buttons in same place

Gluing the button to the tact switch may or may not work depending on the switch. If it's the orange squishy ones, that could be fine. If it's a standard black tact switch, that wouldn't work because the switch rotates. Also as mentioned above, the second solution is to use a joycon housing and...

Solved Audio switching from speaker to headphone jack

To answer your question and for others that might read this, you shouldn't use that amp with headphones. You should use an amp that supports headphones so you don't risk blowing them out. Most amps that do support headphones will have a pin used to toggle speakers/headphones. Then you would use...

    Discussion Batteries

The trim allows you to use custom regulators so that you can use a < 12V input, and of course that will slightly improve efficiency but for a 6 layer board you can still expect around a 15-20W power draw.. It's best to just pick up a 4 layer since the Wii board itself is only around 10 dollars...

Solved deleted portablizemii USB/SD card files

The USB files are totally hot swappable. If you've installed portablizemii already then you can just redownload the USB files, MAC address doesn't matter as that's only for installing the HBC.

    Question Mini wii with HDMI?

There's no settings to change with a wii2hdmi. It simply converts component video to hdmi. I suggest you just do that.

    Question Mini wii with HDMI?

Well what I'm saying is that you can build the wii2hdmi into your Wii mini. The only other option is to use GCVideo internally. That would give much better picture but is also much harder to implement.

    Question Getting started with EAGLE

KiCAD is definitely not inferior. When talking about free PCB design software, both Eagle and KiCAD are both contenders (which both have their own drawbacks, I could go on and on about EAGLE "quirks"). As for F360 integration, you can still export 3d models with KiCAD, it just takes slightly...

    Solved PS2 AC-DC Adapter as a 18650 charger

Overcharge and overdischarge protection is not the same as supporting lithium-ion charging. You would need a smart charger in this case.

    Solved PS2 AC-DC Adapter as a 18650 charger

It is possible, but only if your BMS handles the lithium-ion CC-CV charging characteristic.

    Wii Pocket

One way is to have a physical mechanism with a pullup resistor that closes a circuit to ground on plug in. Since the GC port does not have any sort of sense pin, I did a current sensing route. The short of it is that the 3.3v line to the P1 port is an open circuit when the controller is not...

    Question Wii Voltage tolerance

You should decrease the resistance if possible. The voltage will drop when the system is under load which might put them too low. A little above is better than a little below. You'd like to stay within +/- 0.05V under load.

    Wii Pocket

I've been hard at work coding. As some of you might know, the STUSB4500 supports 2 configurable power profiles. The problem with this is that if I have these power profiles set at, say, 9V and 15V, and I plug in a 12V PD charger, the STUSB4500 will only negotiate to 5v even though it is capable...
