U10 and U9 are the same ic, it doesn't matter which one you use. Check the U10 troubleshooting guide. The USB PD board is not open source, however if you check Gman's website he has some information about the implementation. The USB C controller is STUSB4500. Unless you care about having an...

Low resistance on the 1.8v and 1.15v is normal, provided they're above around 10 ohms. The 1v line seems pretty low though, you should probably continue sanding, increasing the grit as you go up to 600-1000. You can also use the Wii compendium as a guide to sand around the 1V area. As stated...

Question Where Can I Get a Portable Gamecube (or Wii)

For one, the message JUST ABOVE yours said to not bump old threads. Secondly, there are plenty of guides on this website detailing the steps involved in making a portable, which you clearly haven't read. Read them before you start demanding information that you can easily find on your own. Read...

Question Noob here, looking for some forums that can get me started on wii portables.

The pth regulators require a feedback resistor to set the voltage and output capacitors to clean the output

Question Noob here, looking for some forums that can get me started on wii portables.

That bms is intended for use with a 4s pack. If you intend to use pth regulars you will need a bms designed for a 2s pack. EDIT: a popular option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/311721987212

Question Noob here, looking for some forums that can get me started on wii portables.

Keep in mind, the PMS contains a battery management system. So you will need to find a solution for that if you decide to go with the PTH regulators. In addition, a 6 layer board will have around half the battery life and produce around twice as much heat compared to a 4 layer, so they are not...

    Question wii portable battery voltage?

Most people use custom voltage regulators that either allow a 7.4v 2s2p pack, or a 3.7v 1s4p pack. Nobody is recommending a 14.4v pack. That said, if you are using an untrimmed Wii the stock voltage regulator a will work even at 16.8v.

Solved Help please, Find the Short

Honestly those resistances sound fine. Are you measuring those with the PMS connected? Also, does the voltage turn off for all the regulators or just one? I would additionally clean up things like this

    Question Wiring check

Well there are ways you can check all of this with little to no risk 1. Hook up the battery holder to the PMS without anything connected to the PMS. At this point you can use a multimeter to verify there are no shorts on the battery terminals or outputs (which shouldn't be the case since each...

Question Same voltage in input and output on a pms

That board connects the input voltage directly to the output voltage when a charger is connected. It is not connecting 12V straight to the batteries, so no need to worry. The reason you are getting more voltage on the output when the batteries are disconnected is because that board uses a diode...

Worklog The Beginning: a.k.a. I dont know how to solder

Usually there is a continuity function on the multimeter (which is the same as measuring resistance, it just gives you audible feedback when the resistance is less than around 50 ohms). Place a probe on each of the things you think might be shorted (usually an adjacent pin or ground). If it...

    Solved My Understanding Plan

Sounds like a good plan. Regarding the batteries, if you just use header pins which from your description sounds like you were going to do for quick disconnection, they may not be thick enough to sustain the current from the batteries. You might use a power switch as a temporary solution until...

    Jeff's Wii Micro

I sold the black and gray Wii micros I originally had, was commissioned to make this black one, and made a purple one for myself. These were printed on a Prusa MK3 with a PEI textured bed, really love the result.
