Much appreciated!! I hadn't even realized that wesk had made the noob cube until I looked but that would be the project to go for haha
Unless you have a biogenik adapter laying around lol, then frankencasing is the way to go haha
So after looking a bit further into this, I figured out that I could definitely make something like the Postfix Adapter that at least connects to the outside pad, but I doubt I could get a pin small enough thats isolated about 85% as to not short the other pads.
I did however find that I could...
Hey Guys,
So i've been having a bit of issues with my BT module being slow and ive been trying to think of what it could be, but thats not why im here.
So Im not sure where all of you amazing people have got your console modding/ hardware modding starts from, but one of my big intros into...
i just meant that ill try syncing in game haha, and that did seem to work haha... I had just thought you couldnt in game but it must be that you cant sync your wiimote for the first time in game.. but anyway,
Thank you so much again Aurelio! much appreciated!!
I dont have GC2Wiimote but ill give that a shot rn.. I thought it was just my batteries, but even with brand new ones it still refuses to lol..
Ill edit this comment in a min if it works or not... thank you for the quick reply btw!
So I just finished my portable: cube-ii (will post pics in worklog later), however I cant seem to get the wiimote working in wii games atm. I have copied the sysconfig from the real nand but it still wont work. Even when I go on the emunand from the bottom options. Does anybody have any ideas?
I had a hard time finding info when first hitting bitbuilt. Thankfully there has been the overhaul to the site to implement the "manuals" feature, however I did source some good reference links at one point.
Here they are...
Much appreciated!! Haha, I actually never touched it with a dremel.
A hacksaw, bastard file, 800 grit sandpaper, and a fuckton of elbow grease got me to where I am lol
Wiring it up rn, so I'll update soon!
Oh yeah haha they are definitely on there good. What I would do to save some damage (even tho U9 is a backup) is wait for your hot air station, then do a little mixture of flooding and using the hot air at the same time..
Because you'll find that the hot air might take a while on it's own to...
I can attempt to answer some questions for you, but I may be corrected anywhere that is necessary.
1. - 2.) I saw you asked the question about tact switches in another thread and it was answered
3.) I dont think you need an LED board for the PMS as it comes with an LED and it has the...
Yes Id listen to stitches... if you get too impatient, you might end up with a dead board before your able to verify if anything works. I did the U10 relocation on 3 boards before and it can be a very finnicky process. My recommendation is doing it before the trim, and verifying with a...
So I finally get to post a worklog after at least a year or 2 of lurking in the bitbuilt shadows LOL
My main objective here was actually not to build a handheld portable like most, because im restricted to frankencasing due to not having a 3D printer (or the money to send files off for print...
It depends on what your working on. Ive worked on many different things other than the Wii and have had no trouble with 280C.. the Wii and its shitty factory lead free solder are particularly stubborn so i would go 350C, but if you flood with a little bit of good leaded solder, you can achieve...
So I bridged the 3 pins last night and left it alone, but when I plugged it in this morning it would boot for a second, then go right back to the orange light.. I was testing the voltages when it was turned on for those few seconds and I was getting 3.3v. I had already tested for continuity on...
I originally had the 3 pins bridged and U10 connected with magnet wire, but was still getting no boots.. ill try again with the magnet and bridged pins, but if that doesnt work I may just try U9 but more carefully as I think its just U10 thats having problems
Hey Guys,
So I picked up a 4-layer board this morning and installed Portablize Mii with no troubles, and ordered a RVL-PSU for now until I decide to get the PMS (actually I plan on doing the G-Boy before doing my own), so I decided to relocate bluetooth and U10 before trimming.
Bluetooth was...
