As of now BBLoader uses Wii's internal memory for Wii games data (saves, miis, whatever). I guess you can download savefiles online and use the copy save from SD feature of the system menu to do that.

You can change the card for a bigger one, just make sure to also copy BBLoader's file on the new one

Patching games on the fly is the only way to use the GC USB adapter as a GC controller for Wii games.

Sadly SanDisk drives are not fully supported yet, especially with wii games. I am trying to fix them
