I'm currently using a 2012 MacBook Pro, with integrated graphics. Since it can run dolphin (most games) at full speed 720p, with integrated graphics I think that anything with an i5 and hd5000 or better should be able to run it without any problems.
Update: The Swiitch 2.0 is now completed!

Hi, this will be the worklog for my second Wii portable. I really want to make this one without hot glue. It will (probably) feature:
A 5" (touch)screen
New 3DS sliders and buttons
Custom lipo's, around 5500mah
Fully 3D...
I haven't worked on this for a month and a few days, and it is not nearly finished. is that long enough? I started this between march and may-ish btw

If your wii is fully working now your nand should be clean kf any mods. You should be able to install portablizemii correctly now, as long as you install bootmii as ios. Since your nand is fully clean now there is no reason for it not to work. Also try a faster flash drive this time. Good luck
The l7009 has a 5v regulator just behind the 12v input source. If you wire 5v from usb to the output, you can just run it off that. This is the pinout of the regulator:
And this is where the reg is located on the driver board:
I have an update.. The nintendo swiitch is nearing completion! Sadly not in time for the contest however, because i still haven’t recieved my display. Once i have that however i can wire and assemble the rest of the unit. Here’s a pic of the almost completed case with some of the buttons in...
I just printed the rest of the case parts. This is just the case ductaped together, compared to my switch. I still have to paint it, and glue it together. I really hope my new display arrives on time because otherwise i’ll have to use some shitty composite screen. Anyways pics:
I think i’ll paint the whole thing matte white or glossy black, but i’m not sure. I’m also thinking about painting just the controller parts “neon” red and just painting the display part matte black.
Edit: picture of current state of the controller parts
Black classic controller joysticks. They are really thick but they also work really nicely. They feel almost exactly like a wii u gamepad stick but they have less travel, which is nice for a portable.
It has worked basically 10x better then pla for me, so i’m happy. Btw, the quality is indeed really good so whatever. Also, im using an ultimaker 2. I dont know if its dependant on the printer or something then.
I’m not using that for pla. When printing with pla i just used 210. Im now printing with colorfabb XT filament which is supposed to be printed at 250 celcius.
Also, for a z button i’ll be using a tiny button EDIT: next to the r button, but its hole will be drilled in. The airflow in the final...
Okay, so I haven't updated this worklog in a while so here's an update. When I get home I will post a bigger update which includes the state of the Wii and shit but for now, I'm almost done with my case. This is how it looks right now:
I have already test printed a few parts with PLA and I'm...
