Discussion Ps2 slim - info to install freemcboot without dvd on memory card

I would just buy one, and once you have one, you can use it to install freemcboot on any other memory cards in the future.

Guide Dreamcast, PS1, N64 Undervolting info (incomplete)

Just to add a couple notes for the N64: - N64 wouldn't boot for me with Vterm below 1.9V, 2V has been solid. - Boots fine and runs on 2.9V with occasional graphical glitches, but 3V has been solid. - Expansion Pak adds about 0.6W additional @3V, may vary between more RAM intensive games. -...

We shall call you CrazyFlex going forward. In all seriousness, really love how clean this build is going! I know about the JLC flexes, they are super tough. I've put them through a little bit of hell myself...

Really nice to see this design again! How did you change the resolution of the DD? Isn't it set to 800x480 and would need some changes via firmware of the FPGA to set 640x480?

    Worklog Some PS2 Project

Me and another member were looking into driving the 24 bit RGB signal directly as well and I have some measurements that might help. Here is the HS, VS, and pixel clock measurements. I accidentally named HS HV, but just know it's HS haha. These files can be opened using Saleae logic analyzing...

Battery life test: - Stock voltages = 2hr 45min run time - Undervolted = 3hr 52min run time I ended up changing the 3V line back to 3.3V because sometimes the GC+ wouldn't work on boot and had to power cycle for it to work. I believe the 3.3v is mainly IO on the Wii so makes sense. During...

So, the QLED technology, in this case, is just the blue led backlight with the diffuser layer being a quantum dot film. The panel itself doesn’t do anything fancy, it’s the whole backlight system/quantum dot layer to create the better contrast and vibrant colors. So I just swapped the TFT panel...

I finished everything and have some updates along with a quick video. I couldn’t take the poor viewing angles of the QLED screen since I mentioned it was non IPS. So I swapped out the backlight filters to an IPS panel and now it’s perfect. This opens up ideas to potentially cut the filters...

This project is next on the list to get back to. I just ordered some parts to continue this but will take time since I will be making a bunch of custom boards for it. Thanks for the interest!

The buttons are all PETG actually, you guessed correct. The case itself is PLA.

It’s 22.5mm thick, not too bad! That good ol’ AliExpress came through. Bought them a couple years ago and they are the capacity they actually state. They can be found as “124065 lipos”.

Thanks! I haven't done a battery drain test yet but hopefully about 4ish hours. Just completed it tonight haha. I just changed some resistor values to change the output voltage. 1v set to 0.92v, 1.15v set to 1.08v, and just left the 3.3v and 1.8v for now. I'm using Retroid Pocket 3 hall sticks...
