Question Is it Possible to Run the Nintendo Switch Without the Battery ?

I wouldn't suggest that, it most likely tries to detect the battery based on if there is voltage or not, assuming it cares at all

    Trimming with a router?

I cut my boards with a bit kinda like this one (link), it makes the board vibrate less. It certainly makes cleanup of the edges a bit easier, but you still need to sand it as the edges aren't perfect right off the CNC. Additionally, I cut the boards upside down to prevent any dust from getting...

It's most likely the flash drive is not compatible, have you tried another drive? Also, which port did you plug the drive into?

You can change from one to the other fairly easily, BBloader is better, but it's still under development as of now.

Ah ok, that's like headphone jacks then. So you don't need to wire anything to that extra pin, it's there to indicate that something was inserted into the jack, but if you just apply power to the charge board (which is what happens when you plug into the jack) it will start charging.

I'd check if it's connected to either the positive or negative. If not, it may be connected to some bit of metal inside the port

Worklog My take on a Wii micro

As long as your U10 relocation works and you have installed portablizemii you are good to trim. Make sure to cover your board and mark out your lines before trimming If you want to keep the sensor bar port functional you will need 12v, you may want to make your own sensor bar and power it off...

    BitBuilt's 2020 Summer Building Competition

The intent behind the "only done by you" is more along the lines of commissioning others for large parts of the portable or printing off a premade case. We want our entries to be unique, and have the personal touches of the different modders who make them, and not just hundreds of "I MADE A...

Sounds about right, that would mean it uses "fast ethernet" which only uses 2 of the 4 differential pairs in the ethernet cable.

DOH! Its a good job Wii's are cheap!

You should hold on to that board, the cap can be replaced if that's the only thing you hit

That's a black screen, you did softmod this wii before trimming right? If not, you'll need to wire bluetooth and wifi to get it to boot into the wii menu, and then install homebrew from there.

    BBLoader v1.3 - beta

Formatting the storage does not uninstall the nowifi ioses that are most likely installed when you set up the loader. You'll also need to go into priiloader to change the settings to default to booting to the system menu instead of the installed file.

No, that would blow the switch up when you switched it down :P You would want to put the switch between the protection board and the regulator, something like this: This is because the switches work like this (black line indicates those pins are connected together):
