Yea, i really like them, too! Used them for all my portables basically.
I salvaged them from old Fujitsi Primepower 800 Systemboards back in the Gamecube days, since they have pretty much of the size of the GC Heatsink.
i think i'm slowly getting into CAD... starting to love this parametric stuff! It takes much time to "program" but I hope it'll become nice to reuse & share :)
btw,; waiting for my Prusa is even worse than waiting for a print to finish... <.< hope it finally gets shipped next week..
Hi,
I hope it's ok if I post this here, but since a few people (like me) don't want/can use Paint.Net, here is the latest version of the Wii-Compendium, converted to .XCF (GiMP Project).
It can also be opened with Krita & likely many more!
Download (Full / Resized)...
Sure!
For the first cuts i use a dremel, for small cuts mostly a simple hacksaw. After that I continue with a file & rough sanding till everything is shaped as i want it. Then I like to sand the shit out of the board using 800 grid, till my arms bleed!
At the end i use 1000~2000 grid to give it...
i'm on mobile now but hit me up on discord/pm.. i might have something that helps you out (also check the latest posts on my dcp worklog for some controller stuff)
did you even reconnect reset to ground? from what i see on your pics, you didn't...
Connect the reset via to ground using magnet wire or you'll have to relocate USB, which is more likely to fail then just hard wiring reset... without reset/usb = no video
Yeahr! I would be really glad to help and wanted to do some testing soon anyways. until now, i haven't tried anything on it but priiloader. So it's definitely time for some actual gaming on this tiny beast >:D
The discord addicted should already have seen a lot of those pics, but i wanted to share them for all ppl on BB :)
Also i think it's the best i can do for celebrating my one-hundreds post in this community!
Warning: Some of the shown mods are still in a Proof-Of-Concept, so don't try this at...
Thanks mate... but you better watch out for your "PTHs".. when they come from china, they will likely be a ripoff! but IDK...
ATM I'm waiting for my new 3D-Printer, as I was fu**ed off by the size of my case again... so I'll do something else :P
As for pinouts, I already created the definitive...
the wii wouldn't show anything but a black screen if you didn't relocate the usb port yet.
you should connect the "reset" via to GND. this will cause the wii to show priiloader, even when booting the wii without usb.
i always solder a wire to test it, but you can also install a button if you...
Hi,
looking at your pics, it looks like the bluetooth housing could touch the 1.8V line / LDO. As it's likely to be grounded, that would cause a short.
Also you should try cleaning up the solder joints on the PTHs & 3.3v on the wii. Make sure to heat the pad's long enoth, since bad solder...

My suggestion: If it's LJF-1 you better run - but with LJF-2 your coo' ;-)
Hi,
are you from germany? (because of the öäü's) if so, i could send you like 5 wifi modules for free :D
anyways, you could really use some magnet wire. it makes life (and soldering) a lot easier!
