    G-boy rev 3 screen flickering

First things first, clean your pcb with IPA and a toothbrush. Sometimes just flux between different pads can put current where it shouldnt be.... Also, desolder components and clean pads with braid. Then clean with ipa too... Before you soldered the usb data lines, were you seeing the...

I saw that ebay listing and although it is not a red flag listing I still had my suspicion about the low rating of seller. Be careful with buying things from people with 0 rating... unless its a known member of the community.

    Model Party Box STL files

Oh how I wish the GCVideo system scaled to resolutions... I think some big brain told me it would be possible but would take load of ram that could hold the whole frame buffer. Out of my league for now... I loathe playing anything designed to output at 4:3 through my avehdmi to my TV which only...

Worklog My first gamecube portable "gc-p shiden"

I was just looking into that today too... funny you said that. There is a way to extract GC bios and inject it into nintendont so with wii and vWii nintendont homebrew it will start up with the gamecube dance and song. :) I was thinking of experimenting with that soon anyway... id still choose...

Worklog My first gamecube portable "gc-p shiden"

Why even do a GC portable anymore? It seems obsolete since wii progression of portables... Just for the fun of it?? Power consumption and flexability are sacrificed greatly going with the GC over the Wii. But i bet you already knew that.... People might say the same thing about my N64...

how easy is the ashida as a beginner project?

Well, the only way to get a gboy kit is to either find one from someone who purchased it when it was last available. Or you can wait til Gunnar and 4 layer have the time to get the rev 3.5 ready and release it some time in the future. No release date has been set as far as I know.

Discussion Think a Via Data board like this could be useful/Possible?

I imagine it’s gonna be tough to mate the vias to the hard pcb. You might want to feed magnet through the vias first and then through your pcb to ensure electrical connection… or use the first proto to make sure alignment is good then produce it in flex. I love the idea I just don’t know if it...
