After working on the top paste I discovered there was a 3v3 short on the board somewhere. I inspected all of the pins closely and it didnt appear to be bridges or whiskers. I decided to pull off the cpu to check. Luckily it was the source of the short. I went and lifted every pin power pin then...

Is the board trimmed already? Shoot an overview pic and share it. Make sure the joints are not cold and the ground wire to the power supply has a good joint too. If it is trimmed you need to feed a few 3v3 points, and the 5v point too. But it seems you are trying to pump 12v into the board so...

Any 12700 battery will do the job for the most part. I usually go for the highest mah available. Q2: 34awg or 38awg magnet wire is pretty essential for the via wiring necessary for this project. Don't be afraid of it... just use solder to melt the enamel off of the tip and snip it to about 1mm...

Me Too! I used half of the stock nand pads bent 90deg… not as compact but less wires.

Oh you have to also wire 1.8v from middle leg of ldo to 1v8 pms pad

Wesk’s GC micro is a good choice but more expensive and a bit more advanced skill wise. if you ask @Wesk nicely he would probably share the HDMI version of the case stl cheers

You can get away with not trimming the wii too. Just install rvloader and connect the two i2c wires. Wiimote works too. Just hold b trigger and use dpad to select Settings and go to power, Change the led to addressable. Some times DI and DO are swapped around so if it does not work off the bat...

I believe it comes configured for a standard LED out of the box. So just wire up an led with a resistor in series (follow pms lite website documentation) and you should have some power indication. If you want the rgb vibes you gotta listen to what stitches was saying and wire up a wii. It’s just...
