Ok so update. I managed to rewire all of the voltages excluding the ones that need to come from reg's. Also, I managed to hook up GC controller ports today as well. Overall a good day.

I am about to start my first wii project but just to be safe I wanna ask if there is a set amount of time I should wait after unplugging my Wii before it's safe to start slicing up the motherboard or can I just unplug it and get to cutting.

I had the same problem what fixed it for me was reformating my USB and reinstalling RVLoader.

Don't forget to pick up some 22-26 gauge stranded wire and 34-38 gauge magnet wire.

You could use the other Wii for a Wii micro
