Like Wesk said the 18650 you want to use a pretty low capacity. I prefer 5000mAh 21700 as they are only a bit thicker.

Should work if you think about it 21700s are basically 18650s just a bit more buff and bigger other technical specs are the same.

If you look into the definitive Wii trimming guide, you can see that some of these components have 5V I would keep them just to be sure. You could test if the wii works after removing or look into the compendium where they're connected to. Edit: My guess would be that they are for for USB since...

Just a suggestion but you could make it easier connecting hsync and vsnyc similar to how you did it for the bt module. That would make wiring way easier.

Since you've removed the regulators it became an open circuit so I don't think anything could be damaged.

You should have atleast some experience. you should practice a bit until you're sure that you can do it. Building a portable wii is hard and can take really long. It isn't cheap either the pcbs are way more expensive. You can find a parts list on the 4layertech website.

The closest you'll get to a part list is probably the Ashida BOM. I recommend you doing the Ashida since there's many worklogs you can look at.

The Board is untrimmed and i can get to the system menu when using composite (After removing the 3,3V to mode short) Edit: its not a Black screen it just says no sync

I dont know how it works for the wii but if I for example change my Gpu in my Pc I unplug it and press the power button 3 times for 1s to be safe. I had no problems so far on PC's when doing this.

I have installed the VGA Patch on my Wii a few days ago and its amazing, but if I try to get to the system menu my screen tells me that theres no sync. What is causing this?
