Since you sanded down multiple motherboards rather than just one, did you make sure they were the same revision beforehand? I know with the Wavebird, there are multiple revisions that look the same at first glance, just with slightly different component placement.

I've bought them. They're the same ones I use for my custom resin joystick caps. I haven't had any problems with any of mine, although they do feel slightly looser than OEM ones (which is to be expected given that they're third party)

If it smells like roaches, don't open it at all. Even if there are no live ones, nobody wants to build a portable out of a roachy motherboard. They poop all over it and its gross. Also there's no reason to potentially introduce roaches into your house over a $20 or less console

If you just smell the console before buying it, you won't have that problem lol.
