Seeing how you've yet to buy any parts, I suggest going with a Wii Portable instead. It's better in pretty much every aspect. I'm currently in the process of buying parts for my Wii Portable project.

Probably a few dozen. Those are fakes. You'd be lucky if those are even a quarter of the stated capacity. These are the best batteries you can get for the price, but I think they are having some shipping issues, so so can get them here also.

I have a question regarding VGA output from the Wii. Supposedly, the Wii occasionally spits out frames in 480i and some games are solely displayed at this resolution even when the Wii is set to 480p. I'm afraid this will cause issues when using VGA to output video as reviewers of Wii VGA cables...

Would one of those PTH08080s be outputting 1.1v? And could you just add a 3rd PTH08080 for USB/Rumble functionality or would a different regulator be more suitable?
