NetBoy - A network-focused portable for games and work

Update: did a test print (I'll post photos later) and the keyboard fits fabulously. The body feels nice enough in hand, but I think the handles need to be extended so that the user's thumbs fall more naturally near both the controls and keyboard. Alternatively, I could make it less controller...

NetBoy - A network-focused portable for games and work

I do have a bunch of LiPo's laying around. I guess it just depends on how easy the swap would be.

NetBoy - A network-focused portable for games and work

So I've been working on my portable concept over in my Mini-keyboard 3D-printing thread, but I figured that such a project would make a great 2018 summer contest entry. The goals of the project are thus: Comfortable physical keyboard and gaming controls Moderately compact Clamshell (?) Battery...

    N64 Carter Slot

Im sorry, I still don't quite understand. What is the purpose of those bottom two screw posts? Perhaps if you drew where the cartridge would go in your sketch, I'd get what you mean.

If you can more thoroughly describe what you mean, I'll happily do it. Do you have a model already?

    Model Mini-Keyboard Mounting Solution

Here's a (more) complete controller. I'd take any feedback y'all can provide, especially in the realm of making things more cleanly printable.

    Model Mini-Keyboard Mounting Solution

Doot doot, I'm a fruit. I'm thinking I'll make a clamshell. Anyone have any nice Raspi alternatives that will give me a little more "oomph?"

    Question Wii/N64 combo console questions

Each console will only draw as much current as it needs. Any power supply providing more than 0.8A at 12v will sufficiently power your N64. No "amperage" drop required!

Looking for advice on how to build a bluetooth gamepad case for an Android phone.

I too had an Xperia play! Loved the hell out of that thing. Here are my thoughts on your ideas: A fully DIY route is likely your best option. Have you considered USB otg instead of Bluetooth? With the addition of minimal height on your phone case, you could do away with wireless hardware and an...

    Question Wii/N64 combo console questions

Hi! Welcome to BitBuilt. What you are suggesting is absolutely possible, but you might consider another route for the sake of simplicity and robustness. Drumroll please.... Wii's will run N64 games. Unless you have some particular attachment to using native hardware, you might want to...

Question 2 questions about making a GameCube Portable!

The electronics section in the guide hub has good info on battery regulation and wiring. I tend to use 22awg stranded wire for power and 34awg magnet wire for signals. Shielded wire is good for analog signals or others subject to interference. You can get this from the wifi antenna leads. I'd...
