people have made desks and stuff outta usps flat rate boxes, so it could work if you actually try and don't like cut off a flap and have that the front or something. most ikea furniture is cardboard inlay also

The buttons themselves are just old mouse tacts. For the joystick part itself you'd have to 3D print it. The NGPC setup is pretty bulky though and you're better off just using something else to a reasonable facsimile like a 4 or 5 direction tact switch.

Looks super cool but I'd 3D print another emblem for it, perhaps a different subtle color just to fix the negative space in some of the letters. Not a big deal but it would strengthen the entire look of the build imo

Yeah Pi Zero should be easy enough for composite since there is a connection specifically for it. Fuck all trying to get to to work on a 3 though.
