I bought mine from eBay and no problems whatsoever. Of course most of my DRE Slims are SCPH-9000 models lol.

You can make the cart flush, @Akira and I think lovablechevy have done it. I just don't want to lol. I guess eventually cause these are pretty fun to make.

The puffy middle bit was my own fault b/c I forgot to take off the plastic boarder around the screen. Fits nice now and looks neat. (buttons aren't flush because I didn't file anything on account of going to use the 4-button model instead). Anyways, took off the DS slot and added the speaker...

    3D Printing Cases

That's a pretty simple model so should be ok to make completely in anim8or or tinkerCAD. Try exporting a simple file like a box to an *.obj file first though to see how that works with Cura.

    3D Printing Cases

MS paint won't really cut it here lol. I always recommend TinkerCAD to beginners. It's free and there is tons of picture and video tutorials. I haven't used anim8or before but that should be good enough for a case, provided a convertor tool if one is not built into the software. No need to edit...

Worklog I'm making a PiGrrl Zero Portable just because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So all the pins fall out, what do? Just use the screen's GPIO to hold them in place when soldering to the Pi Zero. All Soldered up, a nice meme. Screen attaches and detaches like it should. Probably didn't need to solder up all the connections since I don't think all of the GPIO pins were used...

Aurelio had 360 Fusion and was able to save as an *.stl. My problem was importing in AutoCAD most likely, came in at about 65-75% despite a 1:1 (or 25.4:1 really) import. Glad the dude knows about us though, hopefully he'll sign up and show off some of his work. Anyway, a Print: Turned out...

Worklog I'm making a PiGrrl Zero Portable just because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm going to try and print a GPIO header to save them. It's only $2 for a new one but it's probably (not) worth a try. Just don't feel like going out that way today. Adafruit actually restocked some things so hopefully this won't be as much as a headache as initially thought. Whatever it takes...

Worklog I'm making a PiGrrl Zero Portable just because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pregaming for a possible contest project, I decided to make a PiGrrl Zero Portable as my first foray into pi making. Everything is documented from instructions to parts to code, so should be an easy project right? Guess Adafruit feels differently since nearly all the parts that are suggested for...

Can anyone extract that model to .obj or .stl for printing? When I import into autoCAD via *.STEPS or whatever it doesn't seem to be full size, which is p important for this model. Thank.
