Miceeno's Nintendo Sixty 4or the Win XL

An old resource on the 3DS circle pad is this: http://forums.modretro.com/index.php?threads/mymixed-sonyqrios-epic-3ds-analog-stick-guide.8250/ I'd recommend modifying what they did though. I was never happy with the dead zones and range with that set up. Although I bet that was due to me using...

Solved Lowest voltage that n64 can take.

The dropout voltage on the 5V regulator on the N64 is around 1.7V. So once you power source drops below 6.7V the regulator stops making 5V and you lose power to the DAC. A typical voltage curve on Li-Po and Li-Ion batteries looks like the picture below. So I'd say you loose somewhere around...

Question Wiring Diagrams for SuperPad 64?

This is a diagram I made for my self when I was trimming a SuperPad64 controller a while back. This picture was taken after I removed the controller pak slot.

    Worklog PPR

I'm not going to pretend to know what I'm talking about on this matter but do you think there's an issue with the security chips? Is it possible that on the smaller board the distance between the CIC and PIF is shorter thus causing a timing issue on the security checks before boot?

Worklog GCp Worklog - MiseriesChild's GameCube Proto Ver. 1

Trust me I sanded with 120 grit until the surfaces were very rough. Not my first rodeo. The pictures I attached are post cracking. The case is still in one piece but I was too unhappy with the level of quality I could get with acrylic to proceed. The places that were cracking were between the...

    Discussion UltraVGA - Interest Check

I bought this one because its 4:3 and pixel perfect for the UltraVGA's output of 640x480. Its 5 inch but basically the same size vertically as a 7 inch wide screen...

    Discussion Ben does it again

Ben's portable is a little disappointing. I feel like its a missed opportunity to showcase Marshallh's UltraVGA. I'm sure the video was shot and the portable finished long before Marshallh announced the UltraVGA. When this video hit my YouTube subscription feed I immediately thought: What if Ben...

    Discussion UltraVGA - Interest Check

@marshallh I've been meaning to send you an email on this but is there any way to buy the UltraHDMI directly from you? Surely members of this forum have adequate soldering skills to install it. Also, do you ever intend to do another run of the 64drive portable edition? One of those along side...

    Guitar Boy

But does it djent??? Sorry had to ask. Also, I love the idea of guitar effects pedals on Retro games. That distortion pedal made for a great incarnation of Metal Mario. Brilliant! I've got a new purpose for my 3.5mm to 1/4" adapters now.

    GPD Win

Add cellphone capabilities and this would be my dream machine. I've always wanted an ultra portable x86 computer cellphone device. My search started with the first PC I ever bought for myself the Acer Aspire One when it released in 2008. Back then the only other choice for netbooks was the Asus...

Miceeno's Nintendo Sixty 4or the Win XL

This portable I wanted to keep simple. Instead of painstakingly frankencasing buttons from other consoles I simply drilled holes and mounted some "clicky" tact switch buttons. Which is so much easier than trying to mount "squishy" tact switches behind frankencased buttons. After playing...

Worklog GCp Worklog - MiseriesChild's GameCube Proto Ver. 1

I like how you are using wood blocks and screws to hold this case together. I tried building a laser cut plexi case once but the epoxy didn't stick very well to the plexi. After I built most of the case I twisted it a little bit in my hands and the damn thing cracked all the joints apart. Good...
