    Worklog G-Wii Yellow

Update time!!!! Got all my buttons working super good. GC+ board wired up. I had to do a lot of interesting things to get the buttons feeling right.. such as putting small peices of cut rubber from other controller pads in places.. mainly on the down d-pad and the B button. I completely forgot...

Worklog Creamsicle G-Wii rev 2 "Shwii" Worklog

What up my brother!!!? So let me tell you... it took me 2 sets of gamecube buttons to get my portable right. I failed a lot on this process because I was new to it. So for all your button questions.. let me tell you. In my opinion its the toughest part of the build to get the buttons just...

    Question G-Wii 3D Printing

You can pay someone to print one for you too. I believe the cost can be around 30 dollars depending on who is willing to do it. I would recommend really doing research on the forums and deep reading before posting more questions. I would suggest checking out prices and reviews on YouTube or do...

    GC2go [Summer Competition 2021]

Where did you order the tempered glass?! I love that. I would love to order some for my G-Wii Build if possible. I have been experimenting with bigger screens and then cutting to size... but cutting glass is very challenging and tends to just crack the whole thing.. Great job on this build! It...

Worklog Reviive Worklog and Questions - Portable Wii Brought Back From The Dead!

Nice! And yes you sure can, BUT keep in mind I would suggest using the highest temp setting of your iron and only touch the battery for a two seconds or less if you can. You want to touch in quick and get out quick (also roughing up each side with some sand paper). Here is a video on it:

    Guide Wii Trim Resistances

Completed another trim. Wanted to post in here to reference. I had some low readings at first on the 3.3v but after sanding and removing the components on the edge as Wesk suggested, I was able to get them to match the higher k range. It is interesting that they have almost double what I...

Worklog Black G-Wii Rev 2 Worklog

Maybe try the same USB that the G-Boy has too? Maybe a different USB could fix it? I don't know if it would help at all but I am curious about it. Maybe copy and paste the files from G-Boy to the G-Wii USB as well when you do so? Trying to think was else it could be other than what @SparkleBear...

Worklog Reviive Worklog and Questions - Portable Wii Brought Back From The Dead!

Yeah honestly I think with some troubleshooting and new PMS and batteries (potentially) this will hopefully be a cheap restore! Multimeter is a must though as others have said above. I'm not super experienced but I believe in you!!! You can do this!

    Worklog G-Wii Yellow

Alright... so turns out the screw was grounding and touching the 3.3v and possibly causing pressure on the U10 wire. I was getting SCREWED! Get it?! So I just went to the trusty hot glue lol... I may in the future try the screw again but if I do.. I would only do so before running anything...

    Worklog G-Wii Yellow

Thanks man! And I really appreciate the support. So I have all the gamecube buttons (standard) in white already and I have all the video buttons in white (caps I need to glue on each tact switch) as well. I have a small surprise coming up with the case as well... but I think I'll save that for...

Batteries all wired up proper like and MX chip complete! The USB data lines kicked my butt lol. I also wanted to try screwing the MX to the Wii post instead of using hot glue. We shall see how it pans out!
