Before you replied I actually ended up calibrating and updating the new GC+ anyway (i live life on the edge) and it still works fine. I also forgot to mention that I didn't calibrate the C stick on the first GC+ when I did calibration, only the main stick, which means I left both of its...
The button combos weren't doing anything, and what @GingerOfOz described sounded like the issue I was having, so I triple checked my C stick wiring to make sure. It still froze.. luckily I have a spare GC+, so I decided to try that out; it works perfect, but I'm afraid to update or calibrate the...
So I just recieved my GC+ in the mail, and I immediately went to wire it up to see it in action. Everything seemed to be going well, so I installed the config app to update it to 1.1 and to calibrate my slider ranges. When I clicked exit, it loaded to the portablizemii homescreen but gets stuck...
Welcome! Yes bitbuilt is what remains of the portablizing community. If you were around in 2005, I'm sure you'll be surprised to see how far the scene has come; just take a look at everything @Aurelio has done!
I honestly didn't even know people used charge management boards, is there a reason people use charge and play circuits, which require two different plugs, as opposed to CMB's?
Hold up. I remember this thread, and I saw metal jesus' first video about the adapter, but I never connected the two to each other.. THIS kid is the one who made Metal Jesus' adapter? All of the poor suckers, too bad they couldn't have been warned sooner.

This one is probably the most used, the red light will turn on at whatever voltage you've set it at with the potentiometer. You could use that or wait for something like PowerMii Full :)
Definitely should have trimmed the board, rewired cartridge slot, and rewired the expansion pak one at a time.. now it'll be much harder to track the source of the problem xD. Also, you didn't put the cartridge slot relocation in the picture.. I'll just assume you forgot to take a picture of...
The voltage lines were definitely not shorted, and I know that because the wii booted to a black screen, so it had signal. And I forgot to mention that sometimes you would catch a glimpse of the portablizemii intro before it froze, which proves the U10 was doing it's job. I narrowed the issue...
So I'm having some unexpected trouble with my OMGWTF trimmed wii with it not booting. It boots to a black screen, and sometimes the usb starts flashing but immediately stops. I trimmed this a while ago (6 months ago now) and it worked pretty much fine throughout that time, but now it is having...
Looking for anyone who can sell me a spare U10, I had a perfectly fine one, but a corner broke off after peeling off some epoxy covering it. If anyone's got one around, I'll gladly buy it..
..
I'm desperate
Thanks
