Another small update, received a replacement switch digitizer which includes the switch glass on the front. People have said it scratches easily but this unit won't be docked, so it shouldn't happen? We'll see..
I was worried it wouldn't fit the screen, but looks like it fits perfectly and no...
Everyone who's on the Discord is also on the forum.
@FlyingFalcon23 You should plug in your WiFi and bluetooth modules. If it boots, install BBLoader and set it to patch out WiFi.
The two vias on the flex you shorted before should be connected to GND and 3.3v, make sure that you are getting 3.3v on one side of the capacitors on the flex.
Alright, update time.
Wiimmfi on BBLoader
There's no reason for having WiFi in a portable without going online with it. Yesterday I tested out USB Loader GX on BBL for the first time using a wiimmfi patched version of MKWii. Turns out BBL doesn't use cios 249, so I got it to launch with default...
Coffee machine broke down a while ago, decided to see if I could fix it.(Gaggia Titanium)
Its water pump was always running, even when it went to sleep and it was left on cleaning mode for too long, which destroyed the pump.
I replaced the pump, but the pump still ran 24/7. Replaced the...
Unfortunately I have had zero time to work on this since the last update, no lurking either… But from the projects that I have seen, they all look awesome. The new site update looks great too (and Bbloader!!) But damn the prizes for this year look even better, make me want to rush together this...
The L-Wii
Hey everyone!
This is my contest entry, the L-Wii. It's using Jackson's bt replacement project, an RVL-PMS, u-amp and direct lcd driver on one custom PCB. It will require an omega trim and custom flex PCBs...

Yesterday I got my second trim working completely - WiFi, BT, etc. For anyone reading this wanting to do a WiFi relocation themselves, I have a few tips:
1. Practice on a dead/6-layer board first, then attempt relocation on your trimmed 4-layer board so you know how you might fuck up your real...
So I've now assumed the WiFi data resistors were the problem here. Some data lines would have a weird resistance when I measured from the resistor to the pads on the WiFi module, one resistor even became impossible to solder to once I fucked enough with it. I ended up removing those "bad"...
@GingerOfOz I'm guessing WiFi isn't the problem unless the module itself is bad... I measured the resistance between the right side of these resistors and the pads on the WiFi module. If the resistance between the pads and the right side of the resistors was equal to the resistance of the...
That wire is the 1v8 wire which is NC at the moment since I would need to remove the regulator in order to use it. I feel like I should reshoot the pictures without that wire connected lmao
Any other memers willing to tackle this problem?
Alright, I just removed wires for the following:
MX chip
Bluetooth
USB
The only things that are attached now are:
WiFi
PMS
U10
Reset jumper wire
Still a black screen.
I took a ground point from the trimmed AV port for my composite connection to my TV:
As for the composite video signal...
