Hi, My wii is freezing with weirg buzzing. Usually it is happening when begining playing on SSX but sometimes at other times. It is maybe memory related. I used a circuit to connect the USB to the wii and micro USB and is maybe not perfect. Best, Emetsys

I've done that, you cannot say that buying the gc+ will be more expensive because you have to buy something more. If you are a beginner in soldering it's easier indeed and recommended to have the gc+. It is harder to solder directly to the lines for the abxy and d-pad than solder the IC however...
