About the drifting, I cleaned them with a Q tip and isopropyl alcohol, the drifting was gone. I've seen this in that video, you should give it a go.

Hello, For me, the Wii2Hdmi is not working anymore, same for a composite to hdmi module I got, although I haven't tried it before. It worked with the original wii cable and a composite screen, maybe you have the same issue.

Thanks for the answer. I'm waiting for the review, it would be nice to have thought of new screen people are trying, since the ones in the bom are becoming to be hard to find. It's quite pricy, but one could go really high, I'm watching the dslr camera screens and it goes for hundreds of dollars.

Hi, this project looks awesome! I like the idea of having a vga port instead of a bad wii2HDMI. I'm looking for a good 7" IPS screen, can I ask you which one you have ordered? I have trouble finding a good IPS with VGA.

If I remember correctly what I read, but you can find it on the website, you would need to put a switch(or a mosfet with hotplug) on the mode pin, to get the composite working again, in order to use the Wii2hdmi. You might also need to disconnect the other video pin, but I cannot be sure.

You could do the VGA mod. It doesn't look to hard to do, with the right wire. And expand the compatibility.
