    RVLoader v2.1

When launching a Gamecube game with the VGA mod make sure to press B and enable progressive scan this should fix about 99% video issues, there is the odd game that may output 480i that isn't always a compatible video mode depending on the display driver

    Question PS2 GH-061-51

Your question should be in its own thread not hijacking another as it's not related, but as per Gunnar on discord you were pointed to the trim guide for this information, Here. There's more in the guide hub on the forum for how to figure out the rest

Question Issue when I exit to system menu

So I'm gonna suggest that you do the data lines of the Bluetooth module like the usb data lines, these sometimes can be gotten away with not twisting but in my experience a tight twist is more reliable, you can always show the top as well to see if the magnet wire got connected to the GPU vias...

Question Issue when I exit to system menu

I can't say much to what that error is but by default the system menu, I'm assuming you mean the normal startup screen the Wii boots to, requires that the Bluetooth be relocated on the trim. If it isn't it's normal to get a black screen trying to go there from RVloader, it's one of the methods...

    Portable lcd

Do you happen to have a PS2 that you could test component vid on? That would be sick to see

    Portable lcd

That's awesome, when I saw the RGB lines going to the VGA header I had been skeptical as I was under the impression that RGB component wouldn't work through there but this is sick man. Definitely have to test this on my lcds

    Portable lcd

Love the setup, RGB as in component output? Would you be able to post that lcd info? I only know of the 5" eyoyo that has RGB Just realized this could have been an HDMI compatible LCD with a simple RGB converter input, still great idea

Board scan BOARD SCAN PS2 90006-90010

I was curious just picked up a working 90001 did someone happen to test if the unit will run on 2s power or lower around 5v? I haven't looked as close to it like the 79001 trim info

Question AVE-HDMI Console Install - Help!

The install can be daunting for those that don't have experience with finer soldering but the ave-hdmi board now does have an fpc connector setup so you can place the HDMI port further away and a smaller PCB to fasten elsewhere

Good VGA driver board that would work with this IPS display?

So if you read the red notice on the display page that you linked, this panel is replacing the non IPS panel on buy display. So this display is actually using the one you listed. They've updated the PCB, it's blue now but I did purchase this LCD and board when I did my 4.3" display. As for DD...

    Question Quick Question

According to the trim guide the dvd drive isn't necessary for a Wii to boot. Needed are Bluetooth, wifi, the u10 chip, and power regs. As for firmware you get the info in the settings menu. None of the wii units I've purchased have had working or connected DVD drives when I've gone through the...

    Ashida Wii Portable

It really comes back to reading everything in the first post, you said yourself the files you downloaded were too big. So did you look for the ones labeled for pcbway as CrashBash previously said? There's a reason there's multiple sets of files to download.

Question Is this good for a portable wii?

It's true there's more fpc but it doesn't hinder building a portable, I had a similar setup in my wiide-boy handheld and the display board in the link I gave was able to run on 3.3v so you're milage will vary with either option.

Question Is this good for a portable wii?

Video inputs would work, officially don't believe anyone has tested it so it would require some poking and prodding to find out if 5v can be wired to a point past the DC input jack it has been talked about briefly on discord. There should also be a variant with a different driver board that...

Discussion Inside an AliExpress Wii Portable

I know there's been someone on the forums that has rewritten the software on one of those rtd2660s but I don't think it was ever released. Those chips do support component but that VGA port sadly is only wired to the VGA inputs. Personally I'm planning on trying the component to HDMI board...

Discussion Inside an AliExpress Wii Portable

Not sure of your preferences of PS2 video output, however there's the pimoroni 8" it's pricey and only has HDMI in. Or there's HE080IA-01D it's also the same 8" 1024*768 but it has the smaller driver boards with HDMI VGA (no 15 kHz) and composite. I'm still waiting on my pair to come in but they...

    SCREENS DATABASE

I like this thread it'll be handy, so to throw my 2¢ into the mix I used the following screens or have kept the to the side for future project review. Buydisplay.com was a good source of many sizes, some IPS but more TN also carries 5" 800*480 lcds These screens I've used so I know they are...
