    Worklog 8” 4:3 N64 build

Progress: LCD top portion should be done now, easiest piece since i'm reusing one from a previous project but toss the idea of keeping the cartridge slot and the portable grows in size a hurry

    Worklog 8” 4:3 N64 build

Figure I’ll make a start to my build log. I’ve always liked the partybox from Wess so this is inspired from that style of a portable. Ideally I wanna have quality video out, 4:3 aspect ratio, and potential 4 player capability but I got no one to play with so it’ll just be me haha. So far it’s...

The uamp 2 on 4layertech.com is compatible with an analog wheel. Unless you’ve built an adjusted firmware the first uamp was meant to be used with tactile switches

    Worklog My first portable; Ashida

So you didn't install the vga patch, and are expecting to get vga by wiring mode to 3.3v, no patch means mode to 3.3 is outputting component video. Vga doesn't work without the patch installed and it does not overwrite the use of being able to have composite video to test. So rerun the installed...

Looking for a portable wii/gamecube handheld (g wii)

Crazygadget has hit all the right points, portablizing a console is a niche product and comes with the costs for time and parts associated. You’re best bet for purchasing a commissioned one will be to have the lump of cash saved up or follow all the information provided here on the forums and...

    PS2 Ultra Slim

I would recommend doing some research on the motherboards to understand why it’s built for this model of ps2.

    PS2 Ultra Slim

A 9 series ps2 has a completely different motherboard layout with the inclusion of the power brick internally. It unfortunately can’t be cut square like the 79 series. If you look for different version codes 79001 or 79002 or even 79003 those are different regions and might be easier to obtain.

    Solved Problem relocating Bluetooth module

So to check if your Bluetooth is working properly, I’m assuming you have rvloader and all that installed? When you load into rvloader and choose to go to Wii menu from the selector wheel do you get a black screen or does it load to that health screen and eventually the Wii menu? If it is loading...

Discussion BBLoader issue log. (old, no longer used)

The issue is vga overrides component output so component cables won’t work and using wii2hdmi it needs to be plugged back in after turning the wii on to get a video, it’s also in the rvloader faq

There is no charging RVL-PMS old version

As I've said before 15v is too much for the charge input of the older PMS, this is from the data sheet for the bq25895 chip

There is no charging RVL-PMS old version

So I'm just gonna throw this out there gen 1 PMS or ps2-PMS does not work with pms-pd from 4 layer. Says so on their website. On top the PS2-pms or rvl-pms that you've modified accepts only 9v and 12v charging, it's actually a little higher around 14 something. So feeding it 15v or 20v from...
