Mockup of the back panel so far, just need to wire the regs and add ports. Front panel nearing completion as well. Little bit of room left.... what shall I use it for? :3

SMD low battery indicator I made and a few other things to show scale. It could be made a bit smaller but this was plenty small enough for my use. I haven't tested it yet but I checked over the wiring a few times and it seems good to go to me.

    Portablizing BOM

I ordered these and they turn out to have a 12ohm impedance awkwardly enough. Do you guys think we can run these on the usual 4ohm amps without issue? When you run a higher ohm load on a lower ohm amp, you should see max volume issues. Maybe running two of the speakers in parallel to reduce the...

Well at least it worked lol. Now that the controller is working, here's more progress. Battery pack is in.

So the transistor leg as the data line seems to have solved the issue.... Do we have any idea why that solved the issue? Thanks gman lol.

I don't know and I don't know how to know lol. The GC controller test app showed no response. I will try that fix when I get a chance in a bit

It's soldered to the pin called "data in" on the controller guide on this forum. I tried to copy the trim from your wiiboyv2 exactly.

Thanks cheese. So I'm not getting anything so my gc controller must be improperly connected. I am pulling 3.3v and ground over by the LDO, and im using one of the pictured pins in the trimming guide for the controller hookup. As far as i could surmise, trimming it to where i did and wiring...

I don't but is there any reason why it wouldnt work in postloader but would in priiloader? The wiimote works fine On the gc controller after I trim it, I don't have to relocate or bridge anything right?

Well I added in the c stick and the resistors for the shoulders.(10k between each line and ground). Still not getting anything at all. Any more ideas? :(

If the bottom of the screen says "select a game with a controller" does that mean the gc controller isn't connected?

I didn't connect the c stick, is that an issue?

    Worklog First GCP Worklog

Looks good, though it's not too late to switch to the wii if you want a little bit of an easier time and more options for games to play :P I think you'll find that you'll need your case pretty early on in the project, have you given any thought to it?

    Worklog Pengy's first Wiip worklog

Couple questions here. How do I know if my GC controller is working if all I have is postloader? When I boot it I don't have a cursor and pressing buttons on the GC controller does nothing. Does that mean it's not connected properly? I have it connected according to the diagam in the guide hub...

I'll try it later without, hopefully it works. Might have to relocate the oscillator for thickness purposes. Will also have to relocate caps and hopfully the crystal on the screen board.

No, the electrolytic cap that is normally by the wires at the top. It isn't pictured as I took it off :p the contacts for it are at the bottom left.

Thanks guys! Thanks for the advice Aurelio, it's not in there yet luckily. I'll be wiring those in next and giving the controls a test. Do I need to retain the big electrolytic cap on the GC controller board?
