    New Nintendo 2DS XL revealed

If the price is right I'll totally upgrade my 2ds to this. Monster hunter hurts my hands on the existing 2ds (no other game does, just monster hunter) I wonder if this is a "new 2DS XL" with the improved processor, I'd love to hack it to improve the frame rate in non-new 3DS games

Upscaling would be pointless on a CRT though, It's a completely unneeded feature for that application. Some users may also prefer to use an external scaler .

I'm not claiming Tims mod has the same polish, but if you are a fan of CRTs it is a reasonable alternative. Could you please expand on your statement Shank?

Yeah, Tim Worthingtons RGB mod is pretty comparable to the UltraHDMI, it even has a deblur option.

It's greedy to ask what is included in my purchase? I appreciate Marshallh is doing a very good deal for us but I'm simply asking for clarification of if the custom FFC is included, and if not, may I pay him money to order them as a separate sale. Personally, when I put the money down I...

I'll ask this again, if we do not receive the FFC as part of our purchase, is there a way to order it separately?

    Discussion Region free N64

it is understanding that the Ultra CIC II was sufficent to boot almost all games, upto x105. I'm not going to pretend that I know the n64 half as much as you though marshallh would you be able to recommend an improvment? Maybe I can add a 2nd swich to swap between the Ultra CIC and a NUS-6102A.

    Discussion Region free N64

Most region free n64 mods require a second console for sacrifice. I have noticed that the latest Ultra CIC for flash carts able to emulate NUS-x105 lockout chips for both PAL and NTSC regions. A region free console may possible using a design similar to "N64 Passport" external region switching...

Hi Marshallh, would a 1360 x 768 output option be possible? I am looking at utilising an old laptop screen. You have my money either way, and if it's not possible I'll try something else.

I'm surprised to see Nintendo branded RDRAM on the prototype Marshallh, I seem to remember posts of yours a couple of years ago stating the latency causes a huge reduction in performance.
