That option @Stitches linked is a SD card to usb usb adapter, you stick your sd card in the kingston adapter, and than the kingston adapter goes in your USB port, so you don't need an SD card reader
Why are you ordering Japanese wii's if you are in Germany? You can just use pal wii's?
Check eBay for the wires or find a local store that is maybe open around this time, not sure how rough the lockdown is in Germany, but eBay should just have them
There is, but the whole gamecube controller...
That fan seemed to be used in combination with Supermicro's from what I can tell so quickly, it's a little big and uses 12v, might run on 5, but I woudnt know, I would honestly get a smaller one, this seems Overkill
Do they directly jump into a black screen after launching a Wii game? If so your Bluetooth module isn't wired correctly, try checking if the data lines are connected properly by checking the resistance on them
yea im hoping the next trim will go flawless so the bocu meme doesnt become the dutch meme lol
it just sucks that my neighbor who owns the printing service told my parents an ender is fine and that i dont need a prusa so its hard convincing them, so will see how it goes. This weekend im gonna...
The only thing is that it took 5 wii's and 4 screens :sweatfroge: but I'm pretty happy with it :D
Using the g-wii made it much easier tho, for my next portable I really want to design it on my own, the only issue is getting a 3d printer, parents don't agree with me dropping so much on a prusa...
Yes it's been the go to way it seems as of now, I've used SanDisk SD cards but most seem to be using samsung yeah
In terms of capacity you can use big sd cards, but I haven't maxed out my SD card with 128gb, you can go up to 256 if you really need it
Also heard @GingerOfOz used a 1tb card but...
From my understanding the USB drive compatibility is already really low, so my guess would be that with ssd's it woudnt be much better, so your investment in them might be a total waste of time and money if in the end it doesn't work
I don't think the usb 2.0 of the Wii can use such speeds of an...
sure thing altho i am not to proud of it, it might also have some issues you can see in it, because this is the latest picture of the internals that i had. But that should be fixed already.
and since you clearly want more gameplay...
After probably a 100 times of opening and closing it to solve issues, I finally present my g-wii build, it ain't the prettiest one but i am so happy it finally works without issues for over an hour of gameplay, so really happy :D
The specs:
* Combination of g-wii revs, with wesk's edit to...
i am sorry but nothing from what i cann tell is wrong here, maybe the wires could be twisted a tad bit more because i can see the twists, which with a good twist is barely noticeable, but besides that someone else would have to shine in
the panel stitches linked isn't ips from my knowledge, i have it and its pretty great.
if you do really want IPS, other users here have used the eyoyo 5" small mini monitor
the display you linked doesnt have a driver board, without one you cant connect it to the wii
My guess would be that it's ground looping, so when you use external batteries you have a different source of ground so it isn't ground looping, but I am not an expert, so I could be completely wrong, maybe someone with more experience could help
Well if you did you would notice that the link Jeff send gives you information about what are 4 layers boards, then all you gotta do is put that information on eBay and buy one, it's really simple
Just buy a colored Wii and you will be fine
It depends on what you want from a screen but I've been through a couple to give you some ideas:
The eyoyo 5" display is IPS, kinda pricey but gorgeous with vga
The displays from buydisplays are good middle point, they look really good for their price imo but don't shine as much as the...
