    mcat's G-Boy worklog

I checked the pinout on the AVE, the pins he bent/knocked off are actually NC or GND pins so there shouldn't be a need to dig into the leadframe.

Worklog Wii U R&D Thread (WURD)

This is what I've been thinking for a while. If both NANDs and 3 daughterboards are relocated (and SMC disabled), it seems like just a matter of time until someone trims up to those 2 inductors next to the RAM (or around there). Of course this will be cutting off 2 of the regulators but that...

Question What are the bluetooth limitations?

Technically it could. But there are firmware and software limitations which dont allow bluetooth audio streaming. And I'm not aware of any homebrew that allows it (or if it's even possible).

GC Nano - The Worlds Smallest Gamecube

Hello, I was wondering what orientation the female TRRS connectors should go. I know it doesn't really matter as long as I wire the dongles correctly according to the PCB (which I did). I have the large copper prong facing downwards (look at the pic), But what way did you guys end up orienting...

Solved Help with Wii Trim | Black screen on AV out

I just wanted to bring a bit of closure to this thread. I decided to open up my Hantek 2D42 recently to see if there were internal issues. You see, when I probed a resistor with a known resistance of 10-100 ohms, it would say "0 ohms". When I tried a 1k ohm resistor, it said "19.76k ohms". I...

Nice! I do think having a spare RVL-PSU for troubleshooting stuff like this is pretty handy.

Question Restoring GameCube compatibility to a Wii Family edition

By itself, you'll need to transfer over the GC ports and the passive components (its like 7 per port). I think it'll be easier to just use magnet wire to bypass all that hassle and solder directly to the vias.

    Worklog Final Destination Omega Trim

wrong thread, but yes the LDO converts 3.3V to 1.8V. You need a 1.8v regulator to solder onto the 1.8v vias on the board. this can be accomplished using the RVL-PSU PLUS since it has a 1.8v reg

    Guide RVLoader USB Compatibility Database

It seems that the NAND inside the 32gb is different from the NAND on the 64gb (The NAND on mine seems to be BGA or something, it doesn't have "pins". Was your 32 GB the USB 2.0, 3.0 or 3.1 version? (3.0 and 3.1 are from the same listing lol)
