How to start and sourcing the right wii

Mainly, you'll need to be good at soldering to really small stuff, and also at not screwing up your cuts on the PCB with a dremel. Don't cut close to the trim line, and just sand it to the trim line later.

How to start and sourcing the right wii

As long as it's 4-layer, you'll be fine. Whatever you can get for cheapest that's a 4-layer is what you're looking for. All colored Wiis are 4-layer, and all Wiis without Gamecube ports are 4-layer also. Unless you can find them for really cheap, avoid white Wiis with Gamecube connectors. I also...

Not really? Omega trim is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and PMS3 (soon™), as well as some other boards, fix the issue of a bunch of wires flopping around. I don't really think that's an issue anyway. Most people have all their components and wires secured inside their portables.

What's the issue with the motherboard being cut? With a custom PCB, the chips still have to be harvested from somewhere.

    Please help! My n64Sunburned N64?!

For a sunburnt n64 that isnt working, I recommend lathering the motherboard in sunscreen cream, making sure its in all of the little metal pins, and turn it on and leave it running for 20 minutes.

I think if you’re a skilled enough painter, making it look like the galaxy edition could be sick as hell, but if you aren’t confident enough in your painting skills, I’d just do the black and gold.
