    Ghosts UltraWii Revitalized

Holy crap that thing is the smallest thing I’ve ever seen. Amazing work. How are you going to do the tact switches for shoulder buttons? Doesn’t look like much room.

Question I have a few questions

Hi, and welcome to the forums! Get a rotary cutting tool that has adjustable speed settings. I use thin cut off wheels when I cut the motherboard with high speed. It’s better than low speed, you’re more likely to spin out and do a BocuD nand slice if you use low speeds. When cutting, apply...

    The DMGii

Fellow BB comrades, I have been hard at work over this weekend to get the case ready for building, and I’m chuffed with how the case has turned out after the hours of sanding, tweaking and bondo-ing my way to glorious victory. Strap yourself in! First I really wanted to get the battery cover...

    WiiVision

Thanks! Whenever I’m building, I always have the bad habit of starting the internals off looking really well, and then I’ll just try and rush it at the end so I can play it quickly. Woops.

    WiiVision

Technically I made a G-Wii a while back but it was pretty ugly, inside and out. This is my first “official” working one.

    WiiVision

I made a WiiVision a while back with my friend from Germany who expressed an interest in portablizing to me but didn’t really know where to begin with any sort of electronics or how to put it together. He reached out to Gman to commission a case, and then reached out to me to help him make it so...

    Worklog WiiBoy Color Worklog

Looks really nice so far, the Gameboy colour was one of my favorite consoles growing up as a kid so I’m really looking forward to this one. Are you going to work on designing a battery cover like the original?

Discussion Ideas, questions, etc, Post em here!

You connect the data line “D” to the P1 controller data line on the Wii motherboard specified in the trimming guide. Buttons are then wired from each pad on the board. Each button has to have a ground as well.

Looking for the parts for a portable wii, or an already built portable wii

As Noah already mentioned portables are not cheap and they take a good weekend or two for any skilled modder to put together. Parts are about $200-300 roughly depending on if you screw up anything like trimming or soldering something the wrong way. Then you’ve got the upfront costs of a...

Question start wii after u10 relocation

Yeah, it is possible. Just make sure that you’ve cut the trace as it says in the guides otherwise the board won’t turn on properly. Follow everything else as normal and it will work. Good to verify before trimming as well to minimize potential problems later down the road.
