I've finished working on the PCBs for the portable. I've ordered each of them, so hopefully I should be able to put a unit together soon. :)
The A/B board as seen here features a N64+ on the back! @Gman and I will be using our MGC portables to test a new firmware for @Aurelio which will...
After many months of development the G-Boy kits are finally here!
Huge thanks to @Gman for all of the work to make this possible!

Jesus man, what an entrance to the forums! First off welcome, but more importantly holy shit this is some quality work!
Can't wait to see what you do next!!!
Spent a bit of time today working on PCBs and tweaking the case.
First off, I started by making a mount for the screen driver board as well as UltraVGA. This will be pressed right up to the LCD so that it will hold it in place while also providing me with screw posts in order to be easily able...
It can be modded to run off of 5V. If you're using a Wii PMS, that's what you'd want to end up doing. If you end up powering it with 12V then nope, as long as the pins are connected on the board you'd only need to run one 12V and one GND. Signal input is their way of saying "composite in"
Yeah. Before or after is fine, but definitely enable 480P before you install the mod.
Also correct, you need to disconnect mode from 3.3V. Once your portable is finished however, there is no reason to switch progressive off. I've had a portable with the VGA patches installed since before they...
This model is the one the G-Wii was designed around. It's a great screen, I often use it in my projects. There's a chance we will be stocking them in the store soon, so you could also wait for that.
Sure. People have done it but I don't think anyone has posted their public modifications.

That screen will work as it can take a composite signal, however if you're planning to use it in a Louii/G-Wii there's a chance it won't fit. Also if you think you can do it, I would highly recommend getting a VGA display to pair with Aurelio's VGA patches. It is miles better than composite, a...
That user is banned so you won't be able to contact them.
However, I would not buy a portable from someone who;
Has no established credibility and no previous completed projects on the site
Is willing to send a portable out after completing it "in a couple days." I usually test commissions for...
