    Worklog Nintendo MiWii "First Portable"

I'm not sure where he asked about either SD cards or the MX chip? Also, you should not use an SD card at all, it is not used for "some things." Within PortablizeMii, it is not used at all. The MX chip is needed for some VC games but it is needed for all games that require RTC, N64 for...

    Question GC+ Ordering/Firmware Question

Hi, The store is currently down for maintenance but if you need a GC+ soon just PM me and you can buy one from the store stock. The GitHub link for OSH park would just get you the bare board, you'd need to order the components from the BOM and populate it yourself. You are correct, it does...

    GC+ / PowerMii

These are the buying/selling forums. He's looking to buy a GC+ and a PowerMii. I'm not sure how that was hard to understand? @Adam Hudson although the store is down right now, I still have a bunch of GC+ boards. You can PM me and we can work something out.

    Worklog The Piico

IIRC the PiiWii used two sets of 18650s, both wired in series then in parallel to get 7.4V at 6800mAh. I could be wrong too though lmao

    Worklog The Piico

Actually, with PowerMii you should be able to wire the batteries in parallel for the same capacity as the PiiWii. As long as everything can be run off of 5V or lower, that is. @Aurelio should be able to confirm.

Question Need help on RCP wiring

Based on where you cut, you probably severed the trace that connects pin 26 of the RCP (the bottom most pin you have wired on the RCP) to pin 6 of the PIF. Those two are connected so try running a wire between them and see what happens.

Considering starting a n64 portable. Have a few questions and concerns.

Yeah, if you do a more basic trim the relocations stay the same. If you did the trim I pictured, in order to wire up the controller data you'd need to wire it to the PIF chip in the lower right hand corner of the board. Let me know if you decide to go that route and I'll get you all of the...

The trim will be largely the same with the exception of relocation points for video. Here's a quick trim reference and pinout:

Yep, the 12V line is only for the 7805 which steps it down to 5V to power the video DAC and the audio amp.

Guide LMAOv2 and NAND relocation "Guide"

As someone who recently completed a LMAO trim, seriously listen to this advice: The vias and the NAND pins are very small. The NAND pins are also very fragile. You only get a couple shots at bending the pins before they break off so be sure to be careful!

Would using the Wii U gamepad screen for the raspberry pi be possible?

As Ginger said, unfortunately not. However, if you want to use a Wii U gamepad shell, there are plenty of screens that accept composite/VGA/HDMI that will fit that shell just fine.

    Worklog Jeff's Wii Micro

Nice! Shoot me a PM here or on Discord, I actually designed a Smash themed Wii micro myself a while back, I'd love to go over design ideas. Also I have an extra PowerMii Lite if you want a cleaner install.

Question Post trim (rev-4) board issue

The 2K ohm resistor is needed on every revision below 6 I believe. It was relocated further in with later revisions so you don’t cut it when you trim the board.
