    STM32 NES Emulator

Yeah I'm going to use the original ports. The plan is for a menu but if we run out of time we will do the latter. ;)

    STM32 NES Emulator

So I'm taking a microcontrollers class and we need to create a project. Most projects are pretty basic, but my partner and I wanted to go above and beyond. I've always wanted to write an NES emulator, so we decided to write an NES emulator to run on an STM32 microcontroller. We are designing a...

Is there a reason you used the smaller package for the PIC? Looks like you have a lot of extra room.

Question Any quick fixes for Gamecube controller ports don't work anymore?

You can try to open the controller up and test if the data and voltage lines on the controller are continuous with the lines on the wii when it's plugged in, probably a bad contact somewhere.

Solved OMGWTF Trim Not Booting, u10 via outputs .5v

The voltages seem fine, the u10 is likely the issue. You probably lost a connection during the trim. Check if: 1. U10 blob of 3 pins is continuous with gnd. If no, solder a wire from the blob to gnd. 2. If yes, check if the input pin reads 3.3v. If no, solder a wire from the input pin to 3.3v 3...

Guide The Exhaustive Wii Trimming and Troubleshooting FAQ

Of course you can. You will need to install portablizemii first obviously. Note that it is a CPU-20 so it is a 6 layer. That said you would need to use the OM6 trim.

It would help if you showed your wiring. Also, if you have something to add to your post please edit your post instead of double posting.

How did you brick 2 wiis trying to install portablizemii? If you started from an unmodded Wii this shouldn't happen. Also with priiloader/bootmii it should be pretty much impossible to brick the Wii. With 4 18650s (on a trimmed 4 layer board) you get around 4 hours of battery life so with...

You should try to eliminate as many factors as possible. Try connecting the regulator input to a standard 12v jack, try disconnecting the regulators from the Wii and seeing if there's still output. If you have everything hooked up together you won't be able to single out the issue.

    Worklog My First Portable Wii

If you're having so much trouble soldering to pins of the AVE, you won't be able to replace the AVE even if you have the tools to do so. Having the tools to do something definitely doesn't give you the ability to do it. Don't bother wasting a working Wii. Try a new wii, and if you break that one...
