hey yall, I followed you guyss' advice and screen and ps2 now boot. heres my issue now,
heres my audio setup, I take the red and white RCA cables, mesh their ground take the red and white inputs and connect them to a 5pin 3.5mm jack like so:

then take the shared ground and the optional output to this amplifier board, and wire them to speakers

if no headphones plugged in, audio comes through only the right speaker, not left for some reason. if headphones plugged in, no audio. why no audio with headphones? Im assuming the no left audio from speakers is a wiring issue?

Thanks.

Hi, start by disconnecting the audio jack and seeing if it works without it; if not, swap the channels to rule out a PS2 issue with a specific channel, or use a different test device. The problem with that board is that it isn't designed to work with headphones—right now, you have them wired in parallel to the input, so there is no amplification.

yeap, the white in the ps2 cable white head was the signal, not the gray
