I would suggest the 4.7 inch 4:3 screen from Anbernic, not sure if you can drive it though: https://anbernic.com/en-fr/products/rg477m or a 4 inch fully laminated as well: https://anbernic.com/en-fr/products/rg-406v You can try to contact their customer service, they may hook you up with...

This is absolutely crazy!! Laminated screens are a definite must have! For Wii portables, we source laminated screens from portable emulation console vendors (Anbernic for example). If you find a handheld that uses the same screen size as your portable, you can probably grab a laminated screen...

Very nice! How many batteries can you fit in there? How long can you play?

Unfortunately not for the version on GitHub

Thank you for the in-depth review! I think I will probably look to get one if the mapper support gets a bit better

Congratulations on pulling this off!! Many attempted, most failed but here you are to set things right! Can’t wait to see a fully integrated custom portable design based on this

So hyped to have you join the community!! Warm welcome!

Feel free to join the Discord, lots of good info shared there! B_rob exclusively posts on the Discord server and his insights could be helpful for your project

I sure can: Yveltal's Nintendo Vegas project (2022 - 2024) RedEnergy's The LIGHTNiiNG (2022 - 2023) thedrew's Project M (2022 - 2023) B_rob1's attempt (2025 - on-going) regularly posts updates on the Discord server I recommend spending some time reading the worklogs on the forums—they contain...

Many have walked the path you set yourself onto, none have succeeded except a professional shop who did a batch of new mobos It would be something to see it happen for real! Best of luck

Are you still considering open sourcing this design?

That looks fantastic!! Amazing work! Xenii has reported some mild issues with the fan making noise. Do you have that as well? How long is the battery life with those cells?

Absolutely fantastic! I wish we had a proper laminated screen to have the decidedly ultimate PS2 portable
