As an addon, if you don't care to save the connector, and don't have/don't want to use hot air, I suggest cutting the plastic up with an xacto knife or similar, such that each pin and its attached bit of plastic can be removed individually. You'll tear less pads that way.

If you're able to solder to the components/pads where each line I drew ends, you should be able to salvage it. Good luck!

you missed the part where I said I didn't need one :P

I mean, I have all of the skills/equipment needed to solder one together myself.... That said, I don't really have a need for one :P and I could probably just whip my own board up if I really needed to.
