I still have quite a few parts for a n64p i didnt finish (https://bitbuilt.net/forums/threads/nolds-3rd-n64-portable.5971) I'll rework the whole thing since i can't really make it work with PAL 5**i output of my original games, so it'll have no cart slot ig. :/

That looks pretty good imho.. if it's not the u10, then maybe redo the power wires on the wii. add some more solder and heat them up nicely so you get a good connection. Did you mask the GPU/CPU during trim? maybe something got under there, which would be a bummer..

Oh man.. i barely knew him but as far as i can tell he was a great guy, with so much love for this community, the hobby and the people.. i first met him 2019 at MGC and was glad to meet him again this year... i'm sure we did a photo back then, too but couldn't find it.. We'll miss you

So here is a little "update".. I've finished up some Rev.1 PCBs & designed my first flex PCB. it allows mounting two RAM chips on the n64.. so i can repair a few stock n64 boards. But before i can order a new PCB batch i need to do some work on the PCB.. as it tourns out, my 3.5" inch screen...
