Worklog Budget DS Lite Macro with TV-Out Mod

Hi pals! I usually try to do DIY mods and builds aiming to use only soldering skills (without custom PCB designs and 3D printing) And this time I'm glad to show you my latest build, the DS Lite Macro Why not Gameboy Macro? -Because this build keeps ABXY, the touch feature, does not remove the...

Worklog [2023 Contest Entry] DS Lite XL

Have you installed tv out mod already? When you install custom firmware on your DS, the top screen shows only yellow pictures, so you have to install the dual wifi mod suggested by ↓↓↓↓ or you will not be able to use both screens in handheld mode Maybe you should use extra space to put Blue...

    Question GBA SP keyboard

I saw a mexican guy putting BlueRetro using an ESP32 and neo geo firmware inside the nintendo DS to pair bluetooth controllers and it works! Maybe this could work for you, just connecting those keys on the keyboard to the circuit

Question Activate composite out in Batocera? RPi 3B+

Hi guys I’m using a RPi 3B+ connected to a 16:9 composite LCD (from a reverse camera monitor), but I can’t get composite video to work I’ve found some Batocera documentation that consists on modifying config files but still no results (My A/V cable works well since I can get video output in...

Connecting LEDs to a power supply is enough. Just try to use 3.3V to have minimum voltage drop on the resistor (because you must use a resistor to limit the LED current)

    Question MINI 560 resistor ?

I’ve used that regulators to power my wii, and I had no issues while setting up my voltages, maybe your modules have a second feedback resistor which is slightly different compared against other modules I remember that I’ve placed a 10k pot and I was able to regulate from 1V to 12V so maybe...

Solved upgrading my pc, is possible?

Start by searching which chipset has your mainboard, then, search for a CPU which uses the same chipset with better specs and the same or less TPD. If you go for a higher TPD make sure that your power supply support it

Question How to desolder components on wii motherboard?

Do you need the A/V port for your console? I didn't want to harvest the port when I trimmed my wii, so I've destroyed the metal chassis of the conector using the cutting pliers and then used the soldering iron to remove pin by pin (I didn't have a hot air station in that moment) After that you...

    Question Will my Wii short?

In my 3 trims, the resistance values were different than the values on the post, even I saw two different values between 2 trims of the same board revision. Just make sure they're not shorted or too close to it and try wiring voltages and video to test it Here's a comparison:

    Question Will my Wii short?

I think you should use a microscope to inspect that zone I did the same on my first trim, but sanding that zone a little bit fixed the issue Just need to try to sand to diagonally separate the layers and prevent shorts I don't see any important signal in the top layer at that zone

Can you explain me please your "wireless" U10 location? :ding!: I know I need to take 3.3V and send delayed signal to CPU, but I don't know if the pins of the other side are only soldered together or must be soldered to another place
