Question Will the RVL-PMS work with these batteries?

The portable I'm working on is too small for 18650 batteries, so I'm using smaller batteries. Will I have to change the firmware? What other extra steps do I have to take?
These are some of the batteries I'm considering to use:
1. https://elmwoodelectronics.ca/products/lithium-ion-polymer-battery-3-7v-1200mah?variant=7679843651
2. https://elmwoodelectronics.ca/products/lithium-ion-battery-3-7v-2000mah?variant=23818194563
3. https://elmwoodelectronics.ca/products/lithium-ion-polymer-battery-3-7v-2500mah?variant=7679376323
4. Would any of these give enough play time? I'm guessing the 4th one would give me plenty. I also plan to use this charger with the batteries.

Also, completely unrelated but are the joystick breakout boards only for switch joysticks? They don't seem to fit with my 3ds sliders.

i don’t give a hee ho
i think that as long as you wire them in 1sXp they should be fine but don’t quote me on this. and yeah the stick breakouts are for the switch sticks

Thank you! I only plan on using 1 cell anyways so I won't have to worry about configuration. What I do have to worry about though is how I'll connect that charger board and wire it to the PMS at the same time.

One cell won't give you much playtime. Two 3400mAh cells give 2 - 2.5 hours runtime, so if you use a suitable 2500mAh lipo you'd get less than half of that time.

Also the lipos you've linked are discharge rated to 0.2C, which means it's safe to draw up to 20% of the cell capacity per hour as current. 20% of 2500mAh is 500mA of current, which is nowhere near enough for a Wii portable. You'll need a lipo with a much higher discharge rate, 1.5C at least for 2500mAh.

What about the 10000 mAH one? Would that give enough time? Also, if they all discharge at 20%, wouldn't that make the 10,000 mAH battery draw 2000mAH? Could that be enough?

Whoops, I thought that embed was the 2500mAh cell link doubling. The 10k cell should do, but it says out of stock to me.

Alright, thanks! I'll just look elsewhere for a 10k one if it's out of stock, and I'll update the thread when I test it out (If it's not too late). Also, can I connect the RVL-PMS to the charging board I linked, or is there another way I have to do it?

The PMS handles charging internally. You just supply 12v 2A or 9v 3A from a standard dumb DC supply to the charge pad on the PMS and it handles everything for you. You don't need the Adafruit thing.
