Ok so I did the u10 relocation (thank you shank for u10) but it would only boot up every 2/10 tries is that normal?

Your soldering to the via does not look good. See if you can remove the wire, re-tin both the via and the wire, and resolder it.

Is it too late for this Wii u10 relocation
I think I completely burned off the spots since solder won't stick to it anymore

It looks rough (needs a lot of sanding) but should get the job done. You didn't cut too much which is the important part.
Yeah I didn't want to cut too close since I didn't know what classifies as decent so I decided to go the safe route
Next time tho I'll try it with a working wii

When you trim the working Wii make sure to cover the trim area in some kind of tape to prevent dust from getting under the chips, painter's tape or masking tape should do fine. That also gives you a very clear don't cut here area.

Personally I start at 200, move up to 400, then 800. You should finish with no lower than 600.
I have 800 and up at the moment can I start off with those or is it better to get the 200 & 400 to start off with

Lower number corresponds to a rougher grit which equals more material coming off the board. It's best to start off with a lower number to sand in towards the cut line and then finish it off with higher grit sandpaper. If you sand with 800 you'll be sanding for ages. I'd recommend starting with 200, then gradually moving your way up as Jeff has said.

Check each voltage rail to gnd and make sure your resistance is abnormally low. Once that's done, sand it with some high grit and you should be good to go
