I assembled my first PS2portable, everythink works good, but there is no charging. First up was this Charging Decoy Detector.

5A 9V,12V,20V I though there was a problem with it, and I mounted the PMS-PD 2 and id did't help. 15V voltage is present but there is still no charge

I was thinking a little bit about it. Maybe the chinese charging doesn't work, a squeak was heard from it.

Is usually phone charging not enough powerful for this?

I am going to buy a new one tomorrow

So I'm just gonna throw this out there gen 1 PMS or ps2-PMS does not work with pms-pd from 4 layer. Says so on their website.

On top the PS2-pms or rvl-pms that you've modified accepts only 9v and 12v charging, it's actually a little higher around 14 something. So feeding it 15v or 20v from the programmable board has likely burnt the battery chip, hence the pop you said you encountered

I hear a squeak from charging, while it's just in the socket, both without connection and with connection with PMS. But it charges a phone without any problems. And the squeak disappears when connected to the phone

As I've said before 15v is too much for the charge input of the older PMS, this is from the data sheet for the bq25895 chip

Today I have changed the chip, there is no results
The maximum this chip can withstand is 22V

I don't know if the PD2 will output any power without an I2C connection to a PMS2. The PD2's protocol is not compatible with the older PMS version you are using, so if the PMS isn't receiving power as is, you might have to use a generic USB-C PD module to negotiate charge voltage.

I bought a new charger, setup USB-C PD module

And now, when I set 9V it appears a little сurrent consumption 0,01 А, it is too little. When set 12V, сurrent consumption is disappear.

Current on B+ 3,25V.
I have a question

Should there be current on B + if there are no batteries, but charging is connected?

And one more thing. When I connect the a charger and turn on PS2 сurrent consumption raises. Does it mean that the bq25895 chip is working, and maybe there is a problem with accumulators?

I just solved the problem, replaced this chip again, and now it chargers good on 5V, why so was, i don't know, two days i was breaking my brain

And else, there is current when the charger connect without batteries on B+

Thank you all for answers
